Pacific Coast Physicians is proud to announce that we have installed a state-of-the-art GE prodigy Bone Densitometry system in our office. GE considers it the "most complete bone assesment tool ever devised." The system's narrow-angle fan beam makes multiple overlapping images that eliminate the distortion and inaccuracy of competing wide-angle fan beam systems. This results in a precise, reliable and consistent measurement of bone density. The system also tests the axial spine and dual femurs with minimal radiation exposure using its direct digital detector technology.
